Established in 1998, the P.A.A.C.T (Pledging to Advance Academic Capacity Together) Program serves as a welcome initiative for incoming first-year students to create connections, learn about campus resources, and become familiar with strategies for success inside and outside of the classroom. We are excited to bring the program back, through Black Affairs and Multicultural & Diversity Affairs!
We are looking for enthusiastic P.A.A.C.T Coordinators who have a desire to help students face the transition from high school to college. P.A.A.C.T is an amazing opportunity to meet new students while facilitating their personal, professional and academic growth. P.A.A.C.T Coordinators will have direct contact with the students and serve an essential role in planning and facilitating the entire P.A.A.C.T program along with Black Affairs staff. Whether you are involved in student organizations, research, student government or the local Gainesville community we want you to apply and join the P.A.A.C.T program!
Important Note: To apply, you MUST have served as a P.A.A.C.T Peer Leader in the past.
The application period for 2021 PAACT Coordinators is closed.
