Established in 1998, the P.A.A.C.T. (Pledging to Advance Academic Capacity Together) Program serves as a welcome initiative for incoming first-year students to create connections, learn about campus resources, and become familiar with strategies for success inside and outside of the classroom. We are excited to bring the program back, through Black Affairs and MCDA!
We are looking for enthusiastic Peer Leaders who have a desire to help students face the transition from high school to college. It is an amazing opportunity to meet new students while facilitating their personal, professional and academic growth. Peer Leaders will serve an essential role during the weekend. They will have direct contact with the students as they work to prepare programs and lead small group discussions. Each Peer Leader will have their own small group but are free to connect with any student in the program. We are looking for a diverse set of Peer Leaders who are involved in different areas on campus. Whether you are involved in student organizations, research, student government or the local Gainesville community we want you to apply and join the P.A.A.C.T. program!

Priority Deadline: February 10th, at 11 PM.
General Deadline: February 17th, at 5 PM.
