Movie Monday’s are a showcase of documentary films and motion pictures that highlight the diversity of the Black experience. During Movie Mondays, the selected film is played all day at the Institute of Black Culture.

The selected films for the series cover a variety of topics ranging from the lost history of the northern slave trade, police brutality and the complexity of identity development to the collateral damage of globalization. All of the films promise to be eye-opening and informative.

Movie Monday’s will be held every Monday, and each month will have a different theme.
